Verification Services
Having an Escrow agreement in place gives end-users access to the source code, designs, processes or formulae behind their business-critical material or application in the event of supplier failure. It also provides suppliers with a way of reassuring clients of their stability. However, it does not guarantee that end-users will be able to work with the material released to them.
Invariably, business-critical applications or material protected under Escrow are developed by suppliers with specialist skills. Material deposited in Escrow is often missing vital instructions, scripts or component lists.
NCC Group offers a range of Verification Services which test the integrity, accessibility and completeness of business-critical material secured under an Escrow agreement or held by clients.

Our Verification Testing services include:
Full Verification - recommended for all business-critical material; ensures the material deposited is correct and complete by working through a complete 'build' with the supplier which is tested by the end-user and documented in a comprehensive report.
User Assured Verification - recommended where source code maintenance will be undertaken at the user's site; the Full Verification process is undertaken and the resulting comprehensive report is used to complete the 'build' at the user's site to ensure beyond doubt that the user can amend and maintain the source code should they ever need to.
Integrity Plus - recommended for material which cannot be checked through a build process or during the development of software; ensures the material received for deposit is virus free, accessible and of the expected type by working with the supplier to collate the material and conducting a sample audit.
